Welcome to the 2027 Mid‑Winter Festival—Diamond Cir‑Q‑L8 and Roll to Mid‑Winter!

Get ready to shuffle, deal, and dance your way through a weekend filled with music, movement, friends, and fun at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany, Oregon.

Our theme this year is a playful twist on familiar square dance calls, blending the spirit of the dance floor with the excitement of a casino night. Whether you're here for square dancing, round dancing, or clogging, we’re thrilled to have you join us for a celebration that brings dancers together from across Oregon and beyond.

We are honored to welcome an outstanding lineup of featured talent for 2027: Ted Lizotte from New Hampshire joining us as our featured caller, Pamela & Jeff Johnson from Minnesota and Florida as our featured cuers, and Trevor DeWitt from Indiana as our featured clogging cuer. Their energy, expertise, and love for the dance community will make this a festival to remember.

A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to our dedicated committee, who have been spending the year planning, organizing, refining, and building this festival with care. Their passion for creating an exceptional experience for our dancers shines through every detail—from the workshops and schedules to the decorations and vendor hall. We hope you feel their hard work in every moment of the weekend.

When you’re not out on the dance floor, we invite you to enjoy our casino‑themed extras—play a hand with friends, explore themed activities, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere decked out in red, black, and yellow. And while you’re in town, we encourage you to support the wonderful local businesses here in Albany. Enjoy the restaurants, hotels, shops, and of course the charming Albany Historic Carousel & Museum, a favorite stop for many of our dancers.
