Lauri Tauscher learned folkdancing, including English Country Dancing (ECD) at Oregon State University in the early 1980’s.
She met her husband Barry performing International Folkdances for the Oregon State University Folkdance Performance Ensemble.
Barry and Lauri began hosting and teaching folk dancing at the Milwaukie Community Club in 2010 focusing on young adults, but including all ages.
The Tauscher folkdances continue to attract 100-150 young adults (and older adults) every month.
